Mayor Newsom Announces Expansion of San Francisco’s Energy Efficiency Program
Funding for SF Energy Watch to increase by nearly $4 million

Mayor Gavin Newsom announced significant increased funding for the city’s commercial and multi-family residential energy efficiency program, SF Energy Watch. The SF Energy Watch program has been successful not only in delivering energy savings, but also by creating or sustaining 150 Bay Area green collar jobs. The program offers free on-site assessments of energy savings, installation at a greatly reduced cost, and covers lighting, refrigeration, heating, air conditioning, food service equipment, and more.
