The city incorporated LEED standards into the zoning code. Proposed projects subject to Large Project Review are required to achieve LEED certification. Projects can earn up to four “Boston Green Building Credits” not addressed by LEED. These local categories are Modern Grid, Historic Preservation, Groundwater Recharge, and Modern Mobility.
