The American Institute of Architects has begun publishing a series of reports focusing on green building at the local level. The first one, A Study of Green Building Programs in Our Nation’s Communities, examines the current state of green building laws in American cities as of 2007. It has been followed by Green Incentives, which analyzes data from local and state-level research on green incentive programs, and Green Counties, which looks at the current state of green building development in the 200 most populous counties as of 2008.
